Service Trois Pièces

Service Trois Pièces 45’ Performance, typewriter, typed roll of canvas, projector, mindmap Fureur de Lire Festival, Théâtre Pitoëff, Geneva, CH 2019 ©David Wagnières Reading of the nine-chapter book Service Trois Pièces in 2019. During each performance, one or more of the chapters are read and recorded, then played in front of an audience in a simple setting: a table, a chair and electronic devices placed on top of it. Le Complot (The Conspiracy): screen shots from a smartphone are printed from a laptop. Always the same neutral background where merely the time is featured. The background was captured by chance throughout the whole of 2018, at each mirror hour. Note sur les objets présents dans 17m2 (Notes on the objects found in 17m2): the map of this room is drawn on an overhead projector while its inventory is read. Capital: a roll of typed cloth is unrolled from a typewriter as the inventory is listened to. fureurdelire.ch/dimanche-24-novembre/126
Noise Action Space Agency

Noise Action Space Agency 240’ Collective performance, sound, electronic devices, synthesizers, loudspeakers, projectors, microphone, painting suits, survival blankets, tables, pillows, ventilator, aluminium folders and pipes With Romane Chabrol, Luca Kasper, La Pièce, David Sentkar, Antoine Siron, Ilana Winderickx Plein Air à Voltaire Festival, Geneva, CH 2019 ©Plein Air Seven artists form a collective. A room is designed to accommodate them, equipped with a quadriphonic sound system. The event takes place in a cellar on a weekday evening. Several instruments and machines are wired together. A beamer and an overhead projector are switched on at the back of the room. A sole microphone is also switched on, but not necessarily used. From the left- and right-hand walls survival blankets fall to the floor, converging in the middle of the room. The artists take up their places at the various stations. First one sound, then others, are launched from the machines, setting the rhythm. Drawings appear on the back wall; words can be heard. Someone reads or says something into the microphone. A person sitting behind one of the synthesizers gets up, walks to another instrument and changes places with the artist who was sitting there before. The sounds evolve together, while the drawings are sometimes interrupted by the coming and going of the artists. The room is filled with the presence of machines, the scenery, sounds and images. It is animated by the movement of the artists, the audience, and the risks of live performance; the whole performance lasts several hours. cigue.ch/9eme-edition-du-festival-plein-air
